About

We are a group of Christians inspired by God to start a community church in Tijeras and supporting the surrounding areas of Sandia Park, Cedar Crest, Carnuel, Cedro, Chilili, Sedillo, Edgewood and others.  We are led by Pastor Anthony Lopez, who brings considerable experience, a bachelor's degree, and a seminary degree, as well as a heart for making disciples for Jesus Christ.

Pastor Lopez, a lifelong servant of Christ, mature and seasoned by life's joys and sorrows, holds a master's degree in theology.  Despite attempts to avoid or ignore the call to ministry, he now serves as a Senior Minister. Pastor Lopez champions servanthood leadership and believes in an inclusive God, whose love knows no boundaries, biases, or politics. The Music Director, Carla VB Terwilliger, has an amazing background in music and ministry.  Partnering with Pastor Lopez, outreach events will use music and family entertainment to introduce people to the church.  Carla continues her music career in New Mexico and supports events at the Navajo House of Prayer.

This is a community church that will focus on worshiping God and loving our neighbors.  We will practice the teachings of the New Testament while welcoming all believers and all people interested in knowing more about God's love and promises.
